Surgical abortions can be performed after the 5th week of pregnancy using various methods. Vacuum Aspiration, Dilation and Curettage (D&C), and Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) are the most common abortion procedures available today.

All medical providers recommended by Illinois Abortion Clinics Online routinely administer Twilight Anesthesia (also known as I.V. Sedation) along with a local anesthetic applied directly to the cervix.

Fees may be assessed for special medications necessary for patients with MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse), Heart Murmur, or negative blood type requiring Rhogam.
